First of all, thanks a lot "tom @ eas" for those figures! Now it's quite easy to see the differences between M2, M2C and M4.

The N55 starts a bit more agressive in the beginning, but the S55 is just amazing at higher revs. Apart from this, you can see that the progression of the M2C and the M4 is more or less the same until 4500 RPM. From there onwards, the gap between M4 and M2C starts to raise until 7000 RPM. So BMW just "detuned" the M2C a little bite above 4500 RPM to keep the distance towards its big brother.

Just one question remains for me as an European, using different units. Those HP are wheelhorsepower, right? How can I convert those figures into brakehorsepower? FT-LBS ist quite easy (0,7376 FT-LBS = 1 NM). Thanks in advance.
