People have installed CFRP brace over the top of oem corner braces.
I'm choosing not to do this wo 1st modfiying the oem braces for the reason I've stated earlier in this thread.
I've bought a 2nd used set of corner braces as I plan to remove any profile - to create an even surface - where the CFRP brace will b e clamped by the bolt on top of the corner braces.
Original 2 bolts can be re-used up front as IIRC they are the same part no for M2 and M2C etc.
