My M2C has been affected by this, too. Under 2k miles and one front wheel has two fairly large scrape lines all the way around the barrel. Sucks, but what can you do. It is ridiculous having such little clearance between the caliper and the barrel. Personally, while huge brakes look cool, I don’t think the M2C needs them. It’s not crazy fast or heavy, and it’s not a super track focused car. The standard M3/4 brakes are plenty capable and provide a much more reasonable caliper/barrel clearance, not to mention easier access while cleaning.
