I found the F80 TIS (recommends against paste) but it looks to be related to ceramic brakes. The TIS for the F87 says to apply paste to the back of the pads, the pins and the beveled edges(?).

What is the procedure for track pads (Ferodo DS1.11) with steel rotors?
Use paste, track pads likely the same but probably isn't a big deal since the paste is mainly to reduce noise.
