I have to say this experience was outstanding! The team at Classic BMW, Plano ran a really smooth and fun event. They had some 15 3 series cars there from 328d to 440i that were available to drive around the 1.7 mile Motorsport Ranch course. We also got a hot lap strapped into the passenger seat of one of their M235i race cars. That was one thrill ride for sure. The instructors were all very helpful and allowed each of us to explore our limits. I managed to stay on the track at all times and eventually turned a 1:36 lap in a 430i Gran Coupe. For the two afternoon sessions, you were allowed to take your own car out with an instructor first, then open for the last one. I opted not to thrash my 335i :-), but I can't wait to get my M2C broken in for a track day!

I highly recommend this experience if you're lucky enough to get the invite!
