Actually, you can code out or bypass ASD entirely, and then hear real engine noise anytime you want. If you want to hear more, there are all kinds of options for increased real noise out there that don't involve the speakers or stereo at all--like downpipes that don't trigger CELs, or full or partial exhaust systems. |
Ya missed his post about Porsche. And from what I read, most people with 17s who turn it off, put it back on. It may be fake (and I think BMW is one of the few to do it) but it works well.
