Disaster averted. It was user error again. I was using m4cs exhaust flap actuation settings in bm3, it probably had flaps open all the time. I flashed oem m2c flap actuation and its much more manageable now.
Very deep tone and rumbling burbles. No annoying drone in the 2.5k to 3.5k range because flaps are closed with oem sport+ settings in some rpm ranges now.
