Thanks for the info. I do remember that thread a while back but forgot about it when I was posting.
I am heavily leaning in that direction as well (255/275). I just wanted to ensure no real downsides to going wider, even if just by 10 mm.
Sounds like no rubbing. I can use the pothole cushioning doing a lot of city driving. Doesn't appear to be significant of a change though to really alter appearance either by much.
