Port installed. Saved a little in labor cost, didn't want to deal with selling the stock exhaust, and wanted the 4 yr warranty.
My M3 MPE was just replaced with V2 at year 3 and was glad to have that extended OE warranty. |
This is an awesome development. How much was it as a port installed option? Is this the exact same MPE on the M2C and other S55?
That definitely seems like it sounds better than the hunk of trash that comes on the back of the car from the factory. |
I think "hunk of trash" is exaggeration. However, that's your opinion and I respect that. I have noticed my exhaust getting louder after 1000 miles. I have yet to do my 1200 mile break in service. I can tell you the car sounds infinitely better outside of the car than inside. I don't need the fake inside sound.
