Bumper and hood are not made out of the same material on the CS iirc, so it will never be perfect. LRG is just like HS with a non-metallic looking base but actually is metallic or pearl. I am not sure how much is optical illusion or effect of the paint. |
Bumper and hood isn't made out of the same material in general not only for CS. It's usually plastic/steel, plastic/aluminum, or plastic/CF pairs. I understand a paint on plastic won't match 100% to a paint on a different material but it's usually possible to match it pretty close so that the difference is not noticeable to the naked eye. Look at other colors in the first post, none of them has the problem that HS has (except for the Lime Rock Gray). Ok maybe this isn't really a problem, maybe it's just the character of this specific color but at least it looks like a bad paint job. This can be seen especially in the unedited pics of HS:
