I may be in the minority here, but I personally prefer my BMW's to be made and assembled in Germany (or at least mostly in Germany). I get it, globalism.
I know many people will argue that the quality of a Chinese or Mexican-made BMW may be on par with German-made, but if history is anything to go by, then I still have my doubts. I remember what happened to VW when they started building cars in Mexico back in the day.
