Every single owner post (including many going from M2 to M2C) has commented on less low end torque. Except for guy one that seems to have read a few specs and formed an opinion based on that. Anyway...
I've owned an M4.

The S55 hits harder when the power does come on - at least the one I drove did exactly like my old M4 was.

Low end is in the 3500-4500RPM range - you should rarely be at 2000-3000RPM on a road course. Mid is 4500-5500 and Top is 5500-7+k in the n55 +500 for the S55

The S55 makes substantially more power and torque in the 3500-4500 range, right where you'll be at corner exit on a lower speed corner.
