DS1.11 has a very flat torque curve, very long lasting(the longest wear of any Ferodo compound) and easy on the rotors. The characteristics are very much like the RS29s. Tough to tell you which is better, but the RS29 does cost less and that is the tie breaker for me. You really can't go wrong with either one.

OEM pads can only muster friction levels of .4 at the most, some can be as low as .3 anything in between(not sure if any aftermarket brake manufacturer did any testing on BMW OEM pads) and these two pads above will generate more than that even cold. I assume when you say "at temp", meaning track temperatures, both of the RS29 and DS1.11 will far exceed the friction levels of the OEM pads.
