Beginner question, if I swap back to the regular pads after the track, what is the best storage for track pads, and how long can I keep them?
Laguna Seca would be one of the tracks that you want some better pads for sure as there are a few heavy braking zones.

You can just store the race pads back into their original box. As long as you have more than 4-5mm of material left on them keep using them. At about 3mm, they are not likely going to last another day at the track, especially at Laguna Seca.
