The metallic dragging thing could be a pebble getting between the heat shield for the brake rotor and the rotor itself and then dislodging soon after, it was a common complaint early on in the F80/82 days. |
This is not that noise. It so loud and damage sounding that you get out of the car to look for parts on the ground. I didn't believe it until I heard it in mine.
