I'm sorry you are getting this kind of service. I would probably have the San Antonio dealer look at it after finalizing the issues with Austin.
It may be just as bad, (or better!), but at least it's closer.
I kind of doubt if they even swapped the knock sensors. Those are very important in how the car runs, so don't take it lightly.
