It certainly isn't. It's all one piece.
I finally got mine and they looks awesome. Can't wait to get my caps back painted, so I can install them. I have to give it to AutoID, they did a good job. When I compare these to them, it's pretty close. The OEM mirrors are just more sleeker and, of course the LED turn signal is integrated & laser etched, as you guys have said.
