You mean the A, F and A+F "sub headings"? That's because the M2 has those settings under "configure sport" in the iDrive menu.
A = Drivetrain = throttle and transmission setting
F = Chassis = steering
So if you put in Sport, but your "sport configuration" is "chassis" only, then your throttle and transmission remain in "comfort" and only the steering is in Sport.
