I think you can get 2 or 3k off anyway if you open up your search area.
I have a hard time buying a car that has an extended test drive history.
Example:
I went to the VW dealer to try out a GTI Autobahn. The salesman guided me to an industrial part of town to "try out" the car. He showed me how to use the launch feature and said to GO FOR IT. That car had 7 miles on it and we were torturing the engine and drivetrain. The brakes were smoking from the stability control kicking in. I assume someone eventually bought that car....
