been driving manual cars all my life and after 9 months of repeated test drives between the dct and 6 speed i wasn't impressed with the 6 speed. The bmw 6 speed in my opinion drives like crap and gear engagement feels rubbery. The clutch pedal feels dead and has a ridiculous late engagement. Also it's nice having a 7th gear to be able to cruise with on the autobahn at a 120mph+. Plus i get my manual rocks off with my second car.

hard to convey tone through text. And the topic is definitely highly debate able and filled with purely personal preference and experience. No offense taken just seems like the three pedal mafia always has to bring it up just like a vegan always has to tell you about their vegan ways. :d |
