So sadly, we do need these parts. The details are that 51718073545 is the plastic at the bottom of the windshield, which is required if you want the M2C / M3 / M4 side panels to fit correctly. 51768073533 & 4 are the plastic seals at the top of the fenders that are slightly different to clear the larger aluminium strut brace.

Hmm. Thanks for checking. I was going by this, which shows they've been on the M2 since 2016, but now I think the info in these links may be wrong.
