also wanted to add, my car which was fixed at a BMW CCRC and it drives flawlessly. I can't tell anything wrong with the way it drives great almost 4k miles later now.
Since your airbags went off, I would push back on the insurance to total the car. that's just my 2 cents. I had some slight frame damage but my airbags did not go off. Was the other driver at fault?
