Posting here as I see this forum more active than the local 3 series one. Last week I got rear ended on my M340i while I was waiting on merging into a right turn. Still the follow up with the other person's insurance is going on, I wanted to understand what would be the best way to get the repair done. I have Portimao Blue M340i and the damages are to the rear bumper lower panel. It is dent with some cracks on the paint clearly visible. Should i just get it repaired through Certified BMW Collision repair or people have any other suggestions for repair centers\body shops? Since the car is in lease I want to make sure I don't run into issues while returing the car. This is my first time getting collision repair being done and hence wanted to understand whether the bumper needs to be replaced or can be repaired and repainted. Any help or advice is appreciated.
