So far ring times show that the M3/4 CS is still faster. M2 CS is in the 1:50's while the M3/4 CS is in the 1:30's. 20 seconds faster. Whether that is due to power is up to interpretation.

Not really. Comparing apples-to-apples, AMS/SA supertest results the M4cs and M2cs are within 1 second of each other (both in the 7:42). It has to be noted that the M4cs was tested on a rather hot day and the M2cs was tested on the faster repaved 'ring, but nonetheless, I expect the M2cs and M4cs to be very close in terms of performance.
