That's not true for me, and frankly I doubt it's true for most -- certainly not true for any of my GT3-owning friends, of which I have several. So forgive me, but I find it hard to trust you.

When you have a 6MT GT3 (especially the Touring), you're not thinking about moving up, because there is no *moving up*.
