We're blessed to be living in a time in which manufactures have caught up to create vehicles of these capabilities, available to the masses.
Rewind like 20 years ago; even if you had 80k to burn on a vehicle like this, the technology and innovation didn't catch up yet.
450hp for 80k in 1985? LoLing
80k is not a big deal to some people who have it; I been out to dinner with some well-off folks who didn't look twice at a $500 steak, so 80k on a vehicle they like is just the cost of doing business.
And the M2 has a cult following, it will sell.
