The M2 CS is going adaptive suspension, it was previously confirmed..
Believe it or not, the Adaptive M Suspension is actually lighter than the regular static dampers because it's made out of forged aluminum and the static dampers are made of steel. |
It looks to me is comparing M3/4 damper to 3/4 series which is referred to as 'base model'.
M2 isn't the base model that has the same base damper. Because the KW-made M performance adjustable coilover, albeit made out of forge aluminum, isn't lighter than M2 stock damper.
Do not spread speculative info like it was confirmed by BMW.
