Pretty easy to be honest...took about 15 mins
Removed carbon dash trim
Removed radio/heater panel
Removed head unit
Plug antenna into port
Locate and stick antenna inside dash
Refit panels
Purchased off eBay for about £8

If you would be able to post the pictures of the install that would be amazing! I purchased carplay for my 17 M2 and without the antenna the connection is very spotty |
Here you have a very good video showing the process. The only difference is that our trim with the vents are different. However the same way to remove it as shown too. The process is super simple!
