If you don't like the default OEM valve behavior or simply want more control over your exhaust the valve controller lets you manually open or shut the valve in any of the maps (comfort, sport, etc). Also lets you force shut the valve on cold start which is useful if you don't want to wake the entire neighborhood early in the morning.
