My passion for BMW's prevailed, so when the kids grew up, I went back to X3's, 435, 330Touring, all MSports pack.
The best part of all, I can now "car talk" with my younger son who's a BMW Product Genius at our local dealership. He gets to drive a new (and did I say cheap) employee lease car every year. He's now on his 2nd M240i. Essentially, he gets paid to drive and be around BMW's while I have to pay to play. How great a job is that.
BTW, although I grew up driving MT, my M2 is DCT. I love the kick in the butt and chipping of tires between shifts. The turbo and DCT are such great match.
Call me old if you want, but it still stirs my blood everytime I take my M2 out.
Darn to BMW for getting us hooked.

I am 62 and driving a 2018 Mini Cooper S and a 2018 M2 and having a blast.
