Great post.

I'm 60 and I was thinking that my M2 might be the last hurrah, but maybe not!

I like the fact that the car can be driven very gently even when winding up the tach, just don't punch it unless you are ready for a rush of power. And yes it handles really well. Like Corinne, I like the Tunes, heated seats and other comfort features of the car as well.

I too went with the 6 spd manual. I have been driving manual trannys since 1976 - exclusively. To me it only feels rubbery in 1st going to 2nd. Other than that I got used to it. Actually, I wish it had a 7th gear, seems to be odd to shift into 6 gear at 50 MPH, as I understand it, the dual clutch is a manual transmission shifted by a computer essentially.
