Pretty good day today. Beat my time from last year by exactly 20s, but also had one close call. Saved it, but waaay too close for comfort. This is the slowest corner of the track, and I missed a brake zone by 2s or so.
I'm starting to realize that pulling off a good lap time on the 'Ring is a nerve wrecking experience. Have to be near perfect in all the sections, and get lucky with traffic, weather and temperatures. MPSS start getting greasy after 2 laps, so that doesn't help either.
Also mostly keeping up with a 911 Ring Taxi was a good confidence builder
