Those warranties are a tremendous profit center for the finance guy which is why they push them hard. In reality its a warranty on the life of your tires (about 15k max) and wheels. Like any warranty it is all about risk tolerance. I never take any of them and have never regretted it. I have a friend who buys a warranty for everything and never uses it but that is his business.
