I have no idea how the Corvette guys got GM to green-light this project. I have a hard time seeing how this is investment can be profitable in an era of declining sports car sales. I mean, they basically just killed the Camaro, which is a much easier sell. It's true that the Camaro unfortunately got beaten up and had its lunch money stolen by the Mustang in terms of sales, but I still don't get it. Glad it exists, but hard to see it being a strong seller at an even higher MSRP than C7.
