Tire racks specs says the A052 295/35 is narrower 11" thread width vs 295/30s 11.2" thread width.
I think only other option in the A052 tire is 255/40 & 275/40

Absolutely the opposite. I tested both the 295/35 and 295/30 A052 and found that the 295-35/18 was 12mm+ wider
