Just installed AST 5100 on my friends car and he's having clearance problems. He has 18x9.5 +38 TE37 with a 12.5mm spacer and 265/35 square. According to APEX wheel fitment guide an 18x9.5 +28 setup should work so I'm wondering why this isn't.
I've told him to swap to 255 tires up front and if it's still close, move up to a 15mm spacer. But I'm just wonder why it's not working when according to apex's site, it should.
