@Dackelone tipped me on this article: Autobild claims that the M2 will sport 374hp (consistent with
BIMMERPOST's info and report) and 520Nm torque. 0-62mph/100kph in 4.3 seconds. Price would be ± 56.5K EUR for the base model (manual transmission).
Read somewhere that BMW plans to discontinue the M235i once the M2 will be released. I think BMW will have no choice, as prospective M235i buyers will likely prefer - for a few (thousand) dollars more - to get the M2.
