So I finally got the DME bench unlocked. I had some issues with flashing the car but thanks to the amazing customer support from PTF and the guys at the tuning shop, the issue was resolved within 20 minutes.
The process itself was pretty straightforward. Only the top mount intercooloer needs to be moved aside to access the DME connectors and then the DME can be patched/unlocked via computer. My only concern was that the guys working on my car did not put any covers on the fenders while working on it. The left fender has a few scratches. Nothing that a polish can’t fix.

How much did you pay for the DME bench unlock? Someone local quoted $300, i dont know how far off the prices are.
