I think is sounds awesome. Hearing this in person on an M3/4 comp is very very good. I think people underestimate the sound and feel of the S55. I drove my wife's F80 to test drive an N55 M2 just to make sure I didn't want that instead because of everyone's claims of the N55. Did not like it at all. Felt like a slightly better M235i but not special like the F80. A large part of that is engine sound/violence of the S55 which I cannot get enough of compared to the N55. I think a lot of people are going to be pleasantly surprised by how much they like the car/sound. I know I was when we got the F80.
