1) That's not true most parts are aftermarket equivalents (car was built pre-CS racing being available). Also CS racing parts are mega mega expensive compared to the aftermarket equivalents.
2) No licence plate or registration on the CS racing so no Touristenfahrt or driving to the ring in your ring car (need a tow ring which is also $$$). Seeing as how the ring has few closed trackdays (like 20-30 a year) a street car makes a lot of sense for the ring. |
You're right. I thought the steering wheel and center console are from M2CS racing but it looks like to be different.
Valid point on the road car point of view. Though I don't know how German DMV still qualify this as a road car.
