Yeah, tracking gets spotty once the ships are far from land, depending on what type of system they are using. I find this unacceptable -- how am I supposed to obsess over the final days of delivery if I can't track the ship? I expect it will be offline for the Atlantic crossing, then come back when it nears the US east coast.

When my 2011 Z4 came over, I was able to get a picture of the ship coming into the Chesapeake Bay, which was kind of cool. Just happened to be a weekday when I was down in that area for work. I'd really like to get out on my boat and see if I can get a pic of the M2's ship when it comes into the Bay, but that would take a lot of planning and a lot of things would have to go right (tides, weather, schedule, etc) for it to work out. Too much hassle to be worth it.
