I've posted in other threads re joining the club, but wanted to do a proper introduction here:
About a week ago I took delivery of a 2020 M2C
very basic spec:
BSM
manual
blue stitch
437m's
and that's it!
Coming from an m240i, I didn't have huge expectations for this car. I was honestly rather "meh" about the car after 2 test drives. But there really wasn't anything else out there in the market that appealed (manual and compact size were key for me). I contemplatied going back to a 981S (had 2 before), but that seemed rather backwards
I continued to watch raving review after review and some helpful posts from m2c drivers on here pushed me over the edge into ordering one and I am so glad I did.
I really do love this car, exceeds my expectations (rare in life), and look forward to every drive.
I now get the "there is something about an M car" (this is my first). You can feel the motorsports DNA in so many aspects of the car.
and this car just fits me, I feel so at home in it, a feeling that I've haven't really had since my 2007 Z4 coupe 3.0si.
Anyhow, very happy to be part of the club and look forward to enjoying the car (come on 2000 km!) and sharing with the group here.
