Got it working via blutooth, it shows up in idrive as another audio app/source. Had to install a specific version of Spotify per the readme though.
The GoogleMaps integration is a neat idea but needs A LOT of work to really be usable.
Looking through some of the branches looks like the author is working on voice commands too! Getting into the code it doesn't seem too complicated, hoping to make some contributions in the coming weeks!
