Something about the DCT being an "automatic-manual" and thus it deserves a manual pedal and not the plebian non-sporty auto pedal.

That makes sense. Left does help a lot when you trail braking. But I always feel like I need bucket seats to be able to properly left foot braking. Otherwise my left leg will be pulling left and right by the cornering g without anything to hold on to.
