That's smart, I usually do the same. Im glad to hear it held up to the track abuse at those temperatures. I live in Texas, so hot weather tracking is a part of life.
I just don't understand where the intakes are supposed to be drawing air from except from around the engine bay... the snorkel terminates in a dead section of plastic...
