You're probably right, and I haven't seen any posts from owners on the M3/M4, or our boards complaining about heat soak at HPDE's or TT"s.

OTOH unless you're monitoring all the engines data you have no idea if its pulling a little timing, dialing back boost a little, etc. Oil temps are only 1 part of the equation.
Yes, I logged the car in those hot days via BM3 logging feature (my AIM Solo2DL also monitors some engine data as well). Water temp, oil temp, cylinder timing, boost etc... Not a single red flag. Since I live in California and we have some of the shittiest gast here, I just make sure to mix a few gallons of 100oct with 91oct to get 93oct at the track (to prevent any timing pull or knock).
