I was thinking the same thing, however, just like BMW, Dinan did not go back to the drawing board and designed a new intake, they just relabeled the same M4 version.
Had they built it from scratch, I believe they would of probably caught on to this and hatched up a solution.
I'm pretty sure only BMW and the few of us reading this thread are the only ones who are aware of this perceived design flaw or even care.
