Agree with above. If you are keeping the car for less than 4-5 years, there is almost no chance your engine will grenade or have a problem because of this. As you have no doubt read on the board, many owners believe the break-in rules are BS and think that flogging the car from the start is the way to go.
Keeping it long term? Then $2-3K is not worth it - order your own.
