The rotor wear rate is not an issue. Our customers expect 1 to 2x pad replacement with a new set of rotors. Those who track more typically go with the AP setup right away. Not sure if pad choice has anything to do with it, but give the DS1.11 a try. RS29 wears too quickly and has not been a go-to pad on the F8x platform for some time now.
