The North American market loves manuals in these type of cars.

It is possible the Cayman 6 that we discussed early in this thread may be a US/Canada only car. This could be due to manual transmission take rate and the lack of Particulate Filter, so the car in the NA market could be made with a different exhaust entirely. BMW may want to make sure a 718 6 Cylinder US/Canada only car, does not take people into the Porsche eco system.
